Airlock

Bubbler Airlock

Fermentation Airlock

An airlock is a commonly used device in homebrewing for brewing beer, wine, and other beverages.

This plastic airlock consists of 6 bubble chambers and requires you to half-fill with water.

Place the fermentation airlock in a hole in the lid of a bucket or other fermenting vessel.

This allows gases produced during fermentation to escape through the airlock, keeping outside air and contaminants from entering.

Alternatively, you can fill it with a weak solution of sodium, potassium metabisulphite or a neutral spirit such as Vodka.

If you want to fit tubing onto the stalk of the bubbler airlock the external dimension is 10mm approx.

Height: 170mm approx.
