CL23 Wine Yeast

A multi-purpose strain with a very neutral sensory impact, suitable for most wine styles but especially white, blush and sparkling wines.

This fast fermenting yeast is highly robust, tolerating difficult fermentation conditions and alcohol levels up to 18% ABV.


Most suitable for Elderberry, Apple, Pear, Vegetable Wine, Chardonnay, Dry Sparkling and High Alcohol.

Can also be used for Rhubarb, Apricot, Peach, Gooseberry, Elderflower, Sweet Sparkling, Cabernet Sauvignon and Tempranillo.


For best results ferment at 16 - 24°C, no rehydration required - add directly to grape must and stir well.

Active dried yeast blended with vitamins and minerals.
