Beer Bottle Crown Capper — Mallet Style
A simple, budget-friendly entry-level capper for sealing home brew beer bottles with standard 26mm crown caps. No stand or lever mechanism required — just place a cap on the bottle, fit the capper over the top, and strike firmly with a mallet to crimp.
It takes a little practice to get consistent results, and it's not as reliable as a bench capper or twin lever capper — but at this price it's a great starting point for new home brewers or an inexpensive backup tool.
How to Use
- Place a 26mm crown cap on top of the bottle
- Fit the capper centrally over the cap
- Strike firmly with a mallet to crimp the cap onto the bottle
- Check the seal is even around the rim before moving on
