This 3.8L wide-mouth glass jar (1 US gallon) is a versatile vessel for small-batch fermentation, homebrewing, infusions, and dry storage. It's food-safe, clear for easy monitoring, and sized just right for test batches, starters, or preserving seasonal ingredients. The plastic screw-on lid keeps contents sealed and can easily be adapted for fermentation with a grommet and airlock setup.

Brewer's Tip
Turn this jar into a custom fermenter by drilling a 9mm hole in the lid and fitting a rubber grommet with an airlock. Great for wild ferments, low-risk starter batches, or experimental brewing without tying up your main fermenters.
Please note: This jar is not rated for pressure. Use only during the initial (open) fermentation phase — bottle secondary fermentations in swing-top or pressure-safe containers. The lid may wear over time if drilled, but is easily replaceable. For acidic ferments, placing a piece of parchment or silicone between the jar and lid as a barrier is recommended.
