  • 23-litre (5 gallon) pressure barrel with vented cap
  • Syphon system for easy transfer
  • Beer paddle for stirring

CO2 Bulbs Recommendation: This kit includes one 8g CO2 bulb to get you started. For optimal carbonation and to keep your brew fresh throughout its shelf life, we recommend adding a box of 10 x 8g CO2 bulbs to your order.

Overseas shipping note: Due to shipping restrictions, the CO2 bulb will be removed from international orders.

Flavour Profile

The Young's American Amber Ale pours a beautiful amber colour with a rocky off-white head.

Expect a robust malt backbone balanced with prominent hop character—toasty caramel and toffee sweetness, accented by spicy blackcurrants, pine sap, and aromatic hops. The kind of ale you'd be proud to serve at any gathering.

Brewing & Storage

Brew Time: Approximately 2 weeks fermentation plus 2 weeks conditioning before your beer is ready to enjoy.

Shelf Life: Your homebrew will stay fresh for 3-4 months when properly barrelled with sufficient CO2. The CO2 creates a protective layer that prevents oxidation and maintains flavour.

Storage Tips: Store your barrel in a cool location away from direct sunlight for best results.
