23 Litre Pressure Barrel with Relief Valve Cap
A great entry-level barrel for storing and serving your homebrew beer or cider. With a capacity of 5½ gallons, it holds up to 5 gallons of finished brew and dispenses under the natural CO₂ pressure produced by the beverage itself.
How It Works
The screw cap has a built-in pressure relief valve that holds the natural carbonation from your brew — no CO₂ cylinder required to get started. Once the natural pressure drops, auxiliary CO₂ will need to be added to maintain dispense. If you'd prefer a barrel with CO₂ injection from the start, see our alternatives:

Before First Use
Ensure the tap is fitted correctly before filling. We recommend testing with water and CO₂ first to confirm the barrel is fully sealed and pressure-ready.
