Airstone for Wort Aerator — 0.5 Micron, Sintered Stainless Steel

A sintered stainless steel airstone with 0.5 micron pores, primarily used for carbonating finished beer by diffusing CO2 into solution as ultra-fine bubbles. The finer pore size (compared to 2 micron stones used for wort aeration) produces smaller bubbles for more efficient gas absorption. Connects via a 6mm barbed hose fitting.

Please note: Do not touch the sintered tip with bare hands — natural skin oils can clog the very fine pores and reduce performance. All dimensions are approximate.

Care & Maintenance

• Sterilise by placing in boiling water for 15 minutes
• For blockages, soak in methylated spirits as a first treatment
• Avoid touching the sintered section — handle by the fitting only
