Racking Cane 75?cm 9?mm SST with Anti?Sediment Tip
Stainless steel racking cane with anti-sediment tip, fits 9?13?mm tubing, flow ~90?sec/5?L. Ideal for clean transfers.
75?cm Stainless Steel Racking Cane with Anti?Sediment Tip
This stainless steel racking cane is designed for clean, efficient liquid transfer.
The anti-sediment tip helps prevent trub and sediment from entering your siphon.
Flow is ~90?seconds per 5?litres, making it practical for homebrew batches.
It’s fully alcohol?resistant and safe up to 100?°C.
The cane fits food-grade tubing sized **9 ? 13?mm**.

Why Use an Anti?Sediment Tip?
The anti-sediment tip draws liquid from slightly above the surface of the bottom layer, reducing the chance of sucking up trub or yeast sediment.
This results in clearer transfers.
Common Use Cases
- Transferring beer, wine, mead or cider without disturbing sediment
- Switching between fermentation vessels, clearing under yeast bed
- As part of a siphon / racking setup in homebrewing
Malt / Beer Pairing** (Analogy for Brewing Gear Pages)
Just like good hop pairs enhance beer, using the right racking cane can protect your flavour — combining clarity with minimal oxidation risk.
Brewer’s Tip
Before racking, allow sediment to settle fully. Start siphon slowly, adjust cane height upward to maintain a safe distance above sediment.
Use smooth bending of the hose to improve flow without sudden turbulence.
After use, disassemble the tip and soak all parts in cleaning solution (PBW or equivalent) to remove residues and preserve flow accuracy.
