Large chamber-style airlock, this fermentation trap fits onto a bored rubber, grommet or cork bung.
Fermentation Trap
A larger version of the junior airlock and is much quieter than the bubbler airlock.
Half fill the airlock with clean water, this will allow fermentation gases to escape whilst preventing airborne contamination.
Alternatively, you can fill it with a weak solution of sodium, potassium metabisulphite or a neutral spirit such as Vodka.
Similar to the airlock found with the Fast Ferment Conical Fermenters.
