Barke® Pilsner Malt – Weyermann

A premium German base malt made from the heritage Barke barley variety. Where standard pilsner malts are clean and neutral, Weyermann Barke Pilsner delivers a distinctly richer malt backbone — soft honey, biscuit, and elegant floral tones — while still letting noble hops take centre stage. Higher protein content also supports excellent foam stability.

Use up to 100% of the grist for authentic German lagers, or blend with other base malts to add nuanced complexity. A single decoction mash further amplifies its body and signature honey-biscuit character.
