Light Munich Malt โ Crisp Maltings
A British take on the classic continental Munich style. Kilned to a higher temperature than pale or lager malts, Crisp Light Munich develops rich golden colour and distinct malt complexity โ soft biscuit, honey, and mild toasty notes โ without moving into caramel or roast territory. Adds depth, body, and foam support, bridging the gap between simple pale malt and darker speciality grains.
Use at 5โ50% of the grist depending on how much golden colour and malt flavour you want to showcase. Try 10โ20% in pale ales or IPAs to add a subtle malt spine, or pair with small amounts of crystal for layered depth in ambers and Vienna lagers.
