Cara Gold Malt – Crisp Maltings

A very light caramel malt from Crisp Maltings, designed to add subtle honey sweetness and a gentle golden hue without heavy caramel flavour. Made from high-quality British two-row barley, lightly kilned to preserve delicate sugars while enhancing body and foam stability — ideal for lighter, crisp styles that still need malt support.

Use at 5–15% to lift mouthfeel and add a slight malt sweetness that pairs especially well with hop-forward beers. Try around 10% in session IPAs or golden ales to prevent thinness while keeping colour bright and hop expression fresh.
