Dark Crystal Malt (Crystal 400) – Crisp Maltings
The darkest of Crisp's crystal range, Dark Crystal Malt delivers a deep copper hue and a rich, complex sweetness built on burnt caramel, toffee, and raisin notes. The high level of unfermented dextrin sugars adds substantial body and mouthfeel to the finished beer — without the astringency of roasted malts.
Use up to 15% for bold colour and caramel depth, or at lower rates to add warmth and body to any dark or amber style.
