That crisp, clean sweetness in a continental lager? Often, it's maize. Crisp Maltings' Flaked Torrefied Maize is a GM-free adjunct that adds a subtle corn and cornflake-like sweetness to beer, lightens the body, and lifts the colour — all without needing to pre-cook.
Equally at home in a Prohibition-style lager or a classic British bitter, and a favourite among distillers looking to produce bourbon-style whisky without the faff of a cereal mash.
