Gervin GV13 Cider Yeast
Gervin GV13 is a dedicated cider yeast for rapid, clean fermentation of apple and pear juice.
Its high alcohol tolerance also gives useful headroom for stronger fruit fermentations while retaining a straightforward cider profile.

How to Use
Sprinkle directly onto prepared juice or must and ferment within the recommended range. Use suitable yeast nutrient where the juice is nutrient-poor.
Substitute Yeasts
Mangrove Jack's M08 Premium Cider is a clean, highly attenuative alternative. Gervin GV3 is another robust option that is also suitable for cider.
Cidermaker's Tip
Pectic enzyme can be useful for breaking down pectin and helping juice extraction or clarification, but it does not make the yeast itself more attenuative.
