LalBrew Nottingham Ale Yeast
LalBrew Nottingham is a clean, versatile English ale yeast with high attenuation and high flocculation. It ferments across a broad temperature range while keeping yeast character relatively neutral.
It suits bitters, pale ales, IPAs, porters, stouts and stronger ales where you want reliable fermentation without a heavy ester or phenolic profile.

Pitch directly into cooled wort. Lallemand lists a pitching rate of 50–100g/hL; use the higher end for stronger wort or more demanding fermentations.
Substitute Yeasts
SafAle S-04 is a good British-style alternative, but it is fruitier and generally less attenuative. Mangrove Jack's M42 New World Strong Ale is another clean, well-attenuating option with very high flocculation.
Brewer's Tip
Nottingham is useful when you want one dry yeast that can cover a wide range of ales. Its broad temperature range is genuine, but a steady fermentation temperature will still give the most predictable result.
