Low Colour Chocolate Malt - Crisp Maltings
Low Colour Chocolate Malt – Crisp Maltings
All the character of chocolate malt, dialled back to a smoother, more approachable register. Crisp Low Colour Chocolate Malt is lightly roasted to deliver cocoa and mellow coffee notes without the sharp edge of a full chocolate or black malt — making it ideal for recipes where depth and colour are needed but balance is paramount.
Use at 2–3% to see its effect on aroma and colour, or push to 5% for a more pronounced roast presence. A straightforward way to add nuance to dark beers without risking over-roast.
