Mangrove Jack's Mead Yeast Nutrient – 12g

A 100% autolysed yeast nutrient formulated for mead fermentation. Honey is naturally low in yeast-assimilable nutrients, so a suitable nutrient programme can help yeast ferment more reliably and produce cleaner results.

How to Use

Use the amount specified by your mead recipe. It may be added at the start or divided into staggered additions during early fermentation. Required dosage depends on batch volume, starting gravity, yeast strain, target strength and any other nutrient already used.

Important

Do not assume the whole sachet suits every batch. Degas carefully before a staggered addition because adding dry nutrient to actively fermenting mead can cause rapid foaming. Avoid late nutrient additions once fermentation is nearing completion.
