Wheat Malt – Crisp Maltings
The foundation of every great wheat beer. Crisp Maltings' Light Wheat Malt delivers a lighter body than barley, a gently refreshing touch of acidity, and that characteristic bready, citrusy softness that defines hefeweizens, witbiers, and white IPAs.
High in protein and glucan content, it builds foam stability and a creamy mouthfeel that barley alone can't replicate. Use it as a base malt in wheat-forward styles or add a small percentage to any brew for a subtle bread character and improved head retention.

Brewer's notes
Wheat malt is huskless, so at higher usage rates it can cause a sluggish lauter. Add rice hulls or a well-husked base malt to keep the mash flowing freely. No cereal mash required.
