4.5L PET demijohn with solid cap
A lightweight 4.5-litre square PET demijohn with a solid screw cap. Suitable for fermenting wine, cider, mead, or country wines in standard 1-gallon (6-bottle) batches. PET plastic is shatter-resistant and significantly lighter than glass, making it easier to handle and store.
The solid cap provides a secure seal for storage or secondary fermentation where an airlock is not required. To use with an airlock during active primary fermentation, replace the cap with a drilled bung or grommet cap (sold separately).
