Lalvin ICV-D47 is a white-wine yeast known for producing a round, full palate while supporting varietal and fermentation aroma.
It is particularly well suited to fuller white wines and Chardonnay-style fermentations, with low nutrient requirements and compact lees.

How to Use
For best results, rehydrate the 5g sachet in about 50ml of clean water at 35–40°C. Stir gently and leave for about 20 minutes, then gradually acclimatise with a little must before pitching. Do not add sugar to the rehydration water.

Winemaker's Tip
D47 is a good choice when mouthfeel and roundness are part of the target wine. Its current manufacturer specification lists alcohol tolerance at 14% ABV, so use a more tolerant strain for stronger wines.
