Mangrove Jack's M47 Belgian Abbey yeast for fruity, complex Belgian pale and abbey ales with moderate attenuation.
Mangrove Jack's M47 Belgian Abbey Yeast
Mangrove Jack's M47 is a Belgian ale yeast for fruity, complex abbey-style beers with a softer phenolic profile than more assertive Belgian strains.
Its moderate attenuation and high flocculation make it a useful choice when you want expressive esters, good body and reliable clearing in Belgian pale and abbey ales.

Substitutes
SafAle BE-256 is a strong alternative for abbey and high-strength Belgian beers, but it attenuates more strongly and finishes drier. SafAle S-33 is useful when you want a fruity, fuller-bodied result with lower attenuation.
Brewer's Tip
M47 is a good fit when you want Belgian fruit character without an aggressively dry finish. Its lower attenuation can help preserve body in malt-led recipes.
