Air cooling for your modular distilling setup
The Still Spirits VORTEX Air Cooled Condenser replaces a water-cooled product condenser or reflux condenser (dephlegmator) in compatible 2" tri-clamp systems. Forced-air cooling removes the need to supply cooling water to the component it replaces, giving you more flexibility over where to position your equipment.
Two internal stainless steel tubes carry vapour or liquid through aluminium cooling fins. Three integrated fans disperse the heat, while a control dial lets you adjust fan speed and cooling.

Compatibility and support
Designed for compatible 2" tri-clamp equipment and CREATE+ modular components. Check your boiler, lid or dome connection and the support requirements for your complete assembly before choosing components.
Still Spirits specifies a maximum assembly height of 1.1 m above its boiler lid or dome and a maximum total assembly weight of 11 kg, including up to 2 kg of off-centre weight offset by up to 160 mm. External support is recommended for assemblies outside these limits, a lyne arm extending away from the column, or any assembly that noticeably leans.
Common questions
Will one module make my whole still free of cooling water?
Only if every cooling function in your chosen setup is handled by air cooling. Replacing one condenser does not remove the water requirement of any water-cooled component left in the system. The VORTEX Reflux Equipment Kit uses two modules to cover both reflux and product cooling.
Will it fit an older threaded still?
The module uses 2" tri-clamp connections. Do not assume a direct fit to older threaded equipment; check which adapters and additional components your system requires.
