Whole Barley - 500g

This grain has been used for generations to add body to wines.

Do remember to add some amylase to the must as the starch in the grain can prevent the wine clearing.

If you taste a young wine made with this, or any other grain, it will usually be quite harsh.

But, time is a great healer!

Stash the wine away for a minimum of 6 months and retaste. The wine should have improved immensely in its maturation.
