Munich Malt Dark (Crisp)

Dark Munich Malt

Produced using a high protein spring barley which has been germinated to higher levels of modification.

It is then adjusted early during the kilning process.

This produces intensive, full-flavoured beers with a distinctly malty body and a luminous, dark colour.

  • Colour EBC: 38 - 50
  • Tasting: Bready, Grainy, Rich Malty
  • Usage: 15-20%
  • Beer Styles: Brown, Dark Ales, Dark Wheat, Stout, Dark Lager, Amber Ales, Bock, Doppelbock, Dunkel

Kilned & Toasted Malts are usually used in low quantities to contribute a unique flavour to your beer.

Subject to current stock levels, malt is available in bags of 500g and 3 kg.
