Dual Purpose Hops – Balanced Bitterness & Aroma

Dual-purpose hops give you the best of both worlds: solid bittering potential and great flavour/aroma character. They’re perfect when you want to simplify your hop additions without sacrificing balance or complexity.

Common dual-purpose varieties include Centennial, Cascade, and Chinook — all of which bring bold flavour and decent alpha acid levels. Use them early for a firm bitter backbone, or late in the boil and dry hop for citrus, pine, spice, or floral notes depending on the variety.

Dual-purpose hops are great for pale ales, IPAs, bitters, or any beer where you want efficient hop usage without a huge ingredient list. Available as pellets or whole leaf, and easy to pair with our aroma or bittering selections for even more control.
