Mixed Acid/Acid Blend 100g

A blend of the acids mentioned below, formulated to match the natural acid ratio found in grapes.

This fosters superior results as compared to administering a single acid type.

Wine yeast needs to be in an acidic solution to work effectively.

Without a suitably low pH the wine will not ferment as it should.

The resultant finish could be too high a final gravity - sweetness.

In addition this imparts a sharpness to the flavour that is generally appreciated.

This Mixed Acid contains a balanced blend of citric, tartaric and malic acids which is ideal for adjusting the acidity of either a must or of a finished wine.
