Previously called Europils, Lager Malt is produced from high protein English spring barley and kilned at a low temperature.

Lager malts from continental Europe tend to require a rising temperature programme however Europils have been optimised for UK brewing.

  • Colour EBC: 2.5 – 3.7
  • Tasting: Sweet, Non Malty
  • Usage: Up to 80-100%
  • Beer Styles: All Lager Styles, Light Ales

Subject to current stock levels, malt is available in bags of 500g, 3kg, and 25kg.
