Dried Isinglass Finings - Beer Finings
Dried Isinglass finings encourages precipitation of yeast cells & proteins after fermentation.
Mixing Instructions
- Prepare at least 24 hours before use.
- Use a kitchen blender or whisk, and slowly add 1 teaspoon of isinglass glass to 500ml of water.
- Mix until a smoother homogeneous blend is achieved.
- The mixture can be kept in the refrigerator for up to 4 weeks.
- Keep well sealed in a cool dry place.
Method of use
- Dosage of ready-mixed isinglass glass 200ml - 500ml per 25 litres.
- Disperse thoroughly in the beer either in the conditioning tank or cask.
- If using Brupaks Auxiliary Finings, ensure that auxiliary finings is full dispersed prior to adding isinglass.
- The dosage rate will usually be at the lower end when used with auxiliary finings.
This 20g packet is sufficient to clear 400 litres of beer.
