Still Spirits Sight Glass Botanical Basket Set

This high-quality sight glass botanical basket set is designed for use with 2” tri-clamp compatible distilling systems.

It can be used as a sight glass to monitor your distillation run, or you can attach the mesh filters to convert the sight glass into a botanical basket, perfect for infusing botanicals during distillation.

The sight glass holds up to 150g of botanicals and is compatible with fine botanicals.

It fits 2” tri-clamp distilling systems, including Grainfather G40/G70 distilling attachment accessories.

Instructions:

For use as a botanical basket:

1. Attach the sight glass to the lid of your distilling system using one of the mesh filters and the 2” tri-clamp.
2. Fill the sight glass with your desired amount of botanicals – up to a maximum of 150 g (5.2 oz).
3. Place the second mesh filter on top of the sight glass.
4. Using a 2” tri-clamp, connect the top of the sight glass to your condensing setup.

For use as a sight glass:

Attach the sight glass to your distilling system without the mesh filters.

Cleaning:

• Clean with warm water and a suitable brewery cleaner.
• Use a pipe brush to remove residual oils on the glass.
• Disassemble only if there is heavy soiling around the silicone components.
• Sanitation is not required for this application.

Compatibility:

The Sight Glass Botanical Basket Set is designed for use with 2" tri-clamp setups, such as the Grainfather G40 and G70 systems, where the standard T500 Botanical Basket may not fit.

It is not compatible with the Still Spirits T500 or Alembic Dome & Condenser without modifications.

Adapter Information:

We currently do not have a 2" tri-clamp to DN40 threaded adapter or a bulkhead attachment available.

You may be able to source these components from other suppliers if needed.
