The Mangrove Jack's Craft Series Golden Lager is a well-balanced, flavourful homebrew kit that produces up to 40 pints of refreshing lager.

The kit combines traditional and modern brewing techniques to create a golden beer with a subtle malt sweetness and mild bitterness.

Brewing Tips:

To make your lager stand out, here are some helpful brewing tips:

  • Liquid Malt Extract: For a richer, fuller-bodied beer with more malt flavour, use 1.2kg of liquid malt extract.
  • Brewing Sugar: If you prefer a lighter body and crisper finish, opt for 1kg of brewing sugar (dextrose).
  • Pressure Fermenting: Ferment under 10-15 PSI for cleaner flavours and faster fermentation at higher temperatures.
  • Cold Crash: Drop the temperature to around 0-4°C for 48 hours before bottling to improve clarity.
  • Aging: Let your lager age for 2-3 weeks after bottling to allow the flavours to fully mature.
