Coriander is a stable homebrew ingredient commonly found in Belgian-style beers, especially Witbiers.

With just a small portion you contribute a huge lemony, spicy flavour & aroma to the beer.

A delicate balance rewards brewers with a soft touch, so avoid the temptation of over-dosing with spice.

How much for a 23L batch?

For the best results, we recommend adding 25g of freshly cracked coriander in the last 2-5 minutes of the boil.

Coriander should be treated similar to a late hop addition because less time in the boil results in a more pungent aroma.

Avoid adding coriander in secondary fermentation because it will become overpowering and wash out all other flavours.
