A drum-roasted caramel malt, primarily used for malt forward beer styles.

Produced from two-row, German barley, expect improved head retention and a good malty body.

It contributes dark amber to copper hues, and adds a rich malt accent with notes of biscuit and an intense caramel aroma.

  • Usage: Up to 10%
  • Beer Styles: All Lager and Ales
  • Substitute: Crystal Light

Adding caramelised malts to beer increases mouthfeel and body, while also contributing to foam stability.
