Mangrove Jack's M02 is selected for a pronounced fruity ester profile in apple and pear fermentations.
It has high attenuation and high flocculation, making it a strong choice when you want an expressive cider that still ferments reliably.

How to Use
Sprinkle directly onto the surface of prepared juice or must. One sachet is intended for a typical homebrew cider batch of up to about 23 litres.
Substitute Yeasts
Mangrove Jack's M08 Premium Cider is a cleaner, more neutral alternative. Gervin GV13 is another reliable all-purpose cider option.
Cidermaker's Tip
M02 is a cider strain rather than a general ale yeast: Mangrove Jack's notes that it cannot metabolise maltotriose and has slow or poor maltose utilisation, so it should not be treated as a direct beer-yeast substitute.
