Alcotec 23% Turbo Yeast - Extreme Alcohol

The new Alcotec 23% Turbo Yeast will produce upto 23% alcohol using 10.5kg of brewing sugar (dextrose monohydrate).

Included with the yeast are sachets of nutrient to assist the yeast & activated carbon for a clear clean finish.

Fermentation is normally around 7-10 days with another 2 days for clearing.

Whilst the use of normal sugar (sucrose) is not recommended it can be used by accepting that the brew will have a slower ferment & be of lesser quality than that produced by the use of Dextrose, producing around 19% abv & slightly sweeter due to the non fermentation of approx 3Kgs.

It has been produced with a new recipe with added carbon and minerals and should be cleared using Alcotec TurboKlar Finings

Ferments within a temperature range of 17C - 24C.

Higher temperatures may result in the yeast producing a lower ABV.
