CBC-1 - Yeast for Cask and Bottle Conditioning

LalBrew CBC-1 produces a clean and neutral flavour profile and is selected for its high resistance to alcohol and pressure.

This yeast will settle and form a tight mat at the bottom of the bottle or cask.

CBC-1 does not metabolize maltotriose, the result will be full body and residual sweetness in the beer.

  • Attenuation: Medium to High
  • Alcohol Tolerance: 12-18%
  • Optimal Temperature Range: 15-20°C 

Suitable for fruit beers, full-bodied beers, malty ales, dry ciders, mead, and hard-seltzer.
