VR21 Wine Yeast
A strain of yeast suitable for all styles of red wine with an alcohol tolerance of up to 15% ABV.
This moderate fermenting yeast produces well-balanced wines with enhanced dark fruit notes and good palate length.
The positive organoleptic impact of this strain allows for promoting varietal fruit expression without detracting from the natural qualities of the grape.
Most suitable for Boysenberry, Blackcurrant, Plum, Cherry, Loganberry, Raspberry, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah/Shiraz, Zinfandel(Red), Grenache, Tempranillo and Sangiovese.
Can also be used for Blackberry, Elderberry, Blueberry, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Malbec, Nebbiolo and Gamay.
For best results ferment at 16 - 24°C, no rehydration required - add directly to grape must and stir well.
Active dried yeast blended with vitamins and minerals.
