Special B Malt

It produces an intense caramel taste and raisin-like flavour, which you can find in some Belgian Abbey beers.

Use up to 5 % of the grain bill for a slight touch, or up to 15 % for darker brown-black beers.

Adding caramelised malts to beer increases mouthfeel and body, while also contributing to foam stability.

Subject to current stock levels, malt is available in bags of 500g and 3 kg.
